Meeting spot to be determined
Where legend meets the unexplained—deep in the haunted heart of Hocking Hills.
Old Man’s Cave is more than just a scenic marvel—it's a place where history, tragedy, and mystery entwine. Named after a reclusive hermit who lived—and died—within its shadowy depths, the cave has long been rumored to echo with phantom footsteps, chilling whispers, and ghostly apparitions. But are those really Richard’s bones etched into the cave seat?
Join us as we investigate lingering legends and eerie evidence that point to a darker chapter—when Civil War deserters and Confederate fugitives may have vanished into these very woods. Could the Old Man have been one of them?
As twilight descends over the gorge, The Ghost Patrol invites you on a guided paranormal investigation through one of Ohio’s most iconic and haunted landscapes. Together, we'll uncover the cave’s spectral secrets—disappearances, unexplained phenomena, and the enduring tale of the mysterious figure known as “Richard”.

Nestled just off the beaten path of southeastern Ohio, The Ghost Patrol prowls two of the region’s most spectral playgrounds—Hocking Hills and historic Somerset. Less than an hour from Buckeye Lake’s shorelines, our tours lure thrill-seekers away from paddleboards and wineries into moonlit forests and shadowed alleyways.
